„Orientation Day Summer 2025“

Liebe Mathematik- und Technomathematik-Erstis! Zum Start des Sommersemesters wird es auch in diesem Jahr eine Orientierungsphase geben. Dort werden wir euch unter anderem die Uni und die wichtigsten Anlaufstellen am Campus (natürlich auch die Mensa) zeigen, euch bei der Planung des ersten Semesters helfen und vor allem auch die Chance bieten euch untereinander kennenzulernen und zu vernetzen. Anschließend gibt es bei Interesse noch einen kleinen Spaziergang durch die Umgebung.

Wenn möglich, bringt bitte einen eigenen Laptop mit.

Am Dienstag, den 01. April, holen wir euch dafür direkt um 10 Uhr von der zentralen Erstsemesterbegrüßung ab. Wer das nicht schafft kann dann ab 10:15 Uhr zum Lernzentrum Mathematik nachkommen: dieses befindet sich im Raum J2.324 (J-Gebäude, zweite Etage). Hello dear first-year students! At the start of the summer semester, there will be an orientation phase. During this phase, we will show you around the university and introduce you to the most important places on campus (including the cafeteria, of course). We will also help you plan your first semester and, most importantly, provide you with the opportunity to meet and network with each other. Afterwards, for those interested, we’ll take a short walk through the surrounding area.

If possible, please bring your own laptop.

On Tuesday, April 1st, we will pick you up directly from the central first-year welcome event at 10 AM. If you can’t make it, you can join us at the Lernzentrum Mathematik from 10:15 AM. The Lernzentrum is located in room J2.324 (J-building, second floor). If you have any questions in advance, feel free to send an email to fsmi-ophase@lists.upb.de
